Wisdom for living
Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."— Galatians 5:22-23, NIV
Reflection
Notice the word is fruit, singular — not fruits. These nine qualities aren't a checklist where you can grow some and skip others. They're the natural product of a single life rooted in the Spirit. You can't grow love and skip patience. You can't have joy without peace. The work isn't on the fruit; the work is on the root. If a quality is missing, the question isn't 'how do I generate it?' — it's 'where am I disconnected from the Spirit?' The fruit grows when the tree is healthy.
Prayer
Spirit, grow your fruit in me. Where I'm trying to manufacture it, show me the root I need to repair.
