Thanksgiving Community Meal

Every year the hall fills up the week of Thanksgiving. Some people come because they have nowhere else to eat. Some come because eating alone is worse than being hungry. The kitchen team starts cooking on Tuesday and does not stop until the last plate goes out Thursday night.

Your gift buys turkeys, sides, pie, and the paper goods that get thrown away by the hundreds. It also covers the ride vans, because a meal you cannot get to is not a meal.

Nothing here goes to overhead. The cooks are volunteers and the hall is free.
