The doors open at eleven and the line is already down the block. Soup, bread, a hot main, coffee, and a bag to take home. Same menu rotation every four weeks so the crew can buy in bulk.
One season is thirteen Saturdays. This drive covers the food for all of them, plus gloves, hairnets, and the two big stockpots that finally gave out last spring.
