A kid who has not eaten cannot learn. That is the whole reason this program exists.
For the first six weeks of the school year the fellowship hall opens at 7:00 AM. Cereal, fruit, milk, eggs on Fridays. No sign-up, no paperwork, no questions. Somewhere between forty and seventy kids come through each morning.
This drive closed over its goal, which means the program also covered the milk for October. Thank you to everyone who gave.
